The director of Futura Fairs, Roque Justen, was in the city of Dois Irmãos, attending a meeting of the Agriculrure Committee of the municipality. The objective was to present to those present the events at Nova Prata, especially the Forest Fair and the Cycle of Lectures for Rural Producers,for which the city will send a caravan to participate. At the meeting, besides the Secretary of Agriculture João Luis Weber, representatives of the City Council, Rural Union, Emater, among others also attended. Justen also spoke to those present about the uses of acacia wood, species grown in the city, mainly for firewood. He mentioned that in addition to this use, there are other ways of adding technology and mentioned the example of pellets production. The Rural Union confirmed interest in the caravan to participate in the Cycle of Lectures on Thursday, May 14, when the subject Acacia will be discussed.

5th Hall of Business and Agricultural Fair
Monday, 16/03, Registration for companies and farmers interested in participating in the 5th edition of the Hall of Business and Agricultural Fair of Dois Irmãos will start, which takes place on 24,25 and 26 April and 1, 02,03 May at the Praça do Immigrante and in the area between Gramado Street and Av. Floresta. The municipal secretary of Agriculture, Industry, Trade and Tourism, João Luiz Weber informs that between March16-31 Applications will be accepted from companies / entrepreneurs who have already participated in the event in previous years. Between April 1-6, will be opened space for other entrepreneurs in the city of Dois Irmãos. After this time, in case there is still space, registration of companies from other cities will be accepted.
